Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Finora app or website (get-finora.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Finora. These Terms apply to all users of the service.

2. About Finora

Finora is a personal expense tracking application that uses SMS reading (Android), Gmail integration, and manual entry to help you track your spending. Finora is operated by Finora (contact: hello@get-finora.com). The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use by individuals.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Finora. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may not create an account or use any paid features.

4. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@get-finora.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscription and Billing

Finora offers the following plan:

• Finora Pro (Monthly): ₹299/month, billed monthly
• Finora Pro (Annual): ₹2,499/year (~₹208/month), billed annually
• Free Trial: 7-day free trial available on first subscription. No charge during the trial period.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable amount via the payment method on file (Razorpay for web purchases, or the respective app store for mobile purchases).

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST. Finora reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings screen in the app or by contacting us at hello@get-finora.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until that date. Please refer to our Refund Policy for information on refund eligibility.

7. Free Trial

If you start a free trial and do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee. You can cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.

8. Permitted Use

You agree to use Finora only for lawful personal expense tracking. You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service to track expenses of any third party without their consent
• Use the service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
• Circumvent any access controls or payment mechanisms

9. SMS and Email Permissions

Finora requires certain device permissions (SMS, Gmail OAuth) to function. By granting these permissions, you confirm that you are the account holder and consent to Finora processing your transaction data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke permissions at any time through your device settings or Google Account settings.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of Finora is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We handle your data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software in Finora are owned by or licensed to Finora. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our intellectual property except as necessary to use the service for its intended purpose.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Finora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate. Finora is a tracking tool only — it does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Do not make financial decisions based solely on data shown in Finora.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Finora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your data will be permanently removed per our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Finora shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@get-finora.com to resolve any dispute informally.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Finora after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
